Late Cut-Off 2. Healthy Waldorf Salad

2. Healthy Waldorf Salad

The Waldorf salad has a unique history. It was invented more than a century ago in New York City by the maître d’hôtel – not the chef – of the Waldorf Astoria. The original recipe consisted only of diced red-skinned apples, celery and mayonnaise. Chopped walnuts were added later to this now American classic. We are giving this a healthy twist and replacing the mayo with a yoghurt dressing which has all the goodness of taste but none of the calories.
